Frozen, bolis o little ices?

¿Under what name do you know these desserts?

We all remember these delicious desserts, the best time of the day was when Mom took us to the small shop during a hot summer afternoon, and we got crazy with the variety of flavors and colors.

But did you know that in every region, even in every country, these delicious snacks receive a different name?

The most common ones are congeladas, bolis or hielitos, but there are several: bambino, bolillobolo, bollos, charamusca, cecy, chupichupi, chupps, cubo, cuquitos, duro frío, duros, flash, flas, gelatinas de hielo, helado en bolsita, jaimitos, juguito congelado, marcianos, naranjú, raspaíto, sabalitos, saborín, vikingos, among others.

But it doesn’t matter with what name do you know them, what is great and original is that they are a traditional dessert that unites all hispanic and latinoamerican countries.
